Bhagavathy is a dance-theatre work that is set in the backdrop of Divya's learnings from the stories told by her amoomma (grandmother), of a fierce goddess who is also the family diety of paradevata. Fear turns to fascination as she becomes familiar with the goddess's tribal origins and the social hierarchies built around her legend.
